South Devon Relocations Move Tamsyn & Alex Wood to Devon

When we first had contact with Tamsyn about her prospective relocation to Devon, we could not have possibly imagined what we were about to discover about this inspirational young lady.

In 2006 Tamsyn, Alex and their beautiful children packed up their belongings and drove to South West France to start a new life. Their new life was everything they had ever dreamed it would be, until tragedy struck when Alex suffered a massive brain injury whilst playing rugby, which left the father of 4 blind, brain-damaged, epileptic and part paralysed. Alex was in a deep coma for 10 weeks and had two life saving brain operations. After 2 years in a rehabilitation care home, Tamsyn was desperate to have Alex home, but their home was unsuitable for his return and continued care, so Tamsyn decided to move to Devon to a specially modified property which could accommodate Alex and his needs.

When Andy & Peter heard this story, they were so touched by what this family had been through, they knew they wanted to help, but they wanted to put business to one side and help the Wood family personally. After a very brief chat, a decision was reached that South Devon Relocations would donate the entire removal fee for the removal to Alex's rehabilitation fund. Please feel free to visit Alex's website and make a donation yourself. www.makingwavesforalex.co.uk
